Files Specifications
Build file at 1/2 or 1/4 size
Provide 5mm bleed at final size
Supply all fonts and placed images. When supplying vector based files that contain imported elements (e.g. Photoshop EPS files) please supply the placed/embedded file as a stand alone file.
Digital printing artwork Minimum resolution for scans is 150 dpi at final size
Offset printing artwork Minimum resolution for scans is 300 dpi at final size
Screen printing artwork Minimum resolution for scans is 100 dpi at final size
Colour laser prints are to be supplied with the job
If the job has spot colours, please indicate
The Adval Prepress and Design departments operate Apple Mac computers running Mac OS.
We work in Adobe CS3, including Acrobat. We also work with Quark Xpress.
We will also accept InDesign, Illustrator, or Quark files.

Compressed files
Macintosh files should be compressed using Stuff-It (self extracting archive)

CD/DVD discs (make sure sessions are closed)
